Woman tracks down and arrests thief who stole bag

If you lose your wallet, the first thing you want to do is put your cards on hold so that you can’t use them without your knowledge. This means going to the respective website/application associated with the card to turn them off or making a series of phone calls to prevent anyone from accessing your finances.

Of course, you’ll also want to warn your bank about possible theft. And then there is the hassle of having to retrieve other important ID cards and documents that were lost in theft.

You can report the theft to the police, but again, the statistics don’t seem to favor you getting your stuff back.

However, one TikToker was able to take matters into his own hands and catch the culprit after his bag was stolen.

Jess answered the phone immediately and called the police. They ended up tracking down the crooks down the street and alerting authorities to their whereabouts. Officers eventually apprehended the bag thief, and to go home and celebrate, he cracked open a bottle of wine by hitting what appeared to be a nail in the cork with the bottom of a drill.
