Where does Star Wars: Skeleton Crew fit in the larger Star Wars timeline?

According to Deadline reports, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will take place on the same timeline as The Mandalorian. In other words, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place after the fall of the Republic and the rise and fall of the Galactic Empire.

It also means that Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew will take place at the same time as Boba Fett’s book. I’m here.

Obviously, the next question to ask about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, what exactly is it about? When will it premiere on Disney Plus.

What exactly is ‘Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew’?

A typical Star Wars: Skeleton Crew plot teases an epic story about a group of children lost in space who find their way home. Jude’s character hasn’t been named yet, but based on a teaser photo from Variety Reports, it looks like his Skeleton Crew character will be returning lost children to their places.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew was co-created by Jon Watts (director of the latest Spider-Man trilogy) and Chris Ford, Jon’s director and series writer.

Star Wars creative buddies Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are also executive producers on Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew.

How many episodes are there in Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew?

When Vanity Fair reported on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew in May 2022, it was still filming under the codename Grammar Rodeo. The series is described in the report as “a galactic version of the classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.”

Lucasfilm has yet to confirm Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’s official episode count or whether there will be a second season.

However, we do know that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will debut on Disney Plus in 2023. We’ll be sure to post updates on the latest and most exciting Star Wars series as soon as the news is revealed.
