A TikTok video showed a mother being denied service at Panera Bread because of her fussy child.
“So my kid was screaming so are you going to not take my order?” said @leikerornot in a video she was filming at the Panera drive-thru.
“Yes, I have the right to do so,” replied the drive-thru employee.

The mother later retorted: “That’s completely disrespectful and I will email corporate. The employee nonchalantly replied ‘OK’ and advised me to order in store or online.”
At that time, the mother rejected both options. She claimed she couldn’t go inside because her daughter wasn’t wearing shoes. Regarding her online order, she explained that it was “not convenient for me” and she claimed she had less than 20 minutes to spare to place the online order.
“It’s your job to pick up orders and such, but this is ridiculous,” she told the employee.
After a while he gave in.

@leikerornot replied, “I think that’s a pretty good decision for you.”
“Okay, I don’t need this attitude,” the employee said as the video ended.

By the statements the woman made in the video, it was clear she made this TikTok video to gain sympathy for being denied service in the first place. Unfortunately, not everyone agreed with her. is not. In fact, if you take a peek at the comments section, Panera looks like she’s most biased towards Bled’s employees.
Even her fellow parents didn’t seem to sympathize with her.

One user thought that @leikerornot would have been just as upset if he got his order but got it wrong because her daughter was screaming in the background.

Other comments suggested that the Panera employee should get a raise because she has to deal with her attitude.

@leikerornot seems unsatisfied with the feedback received. She joined the platform to post a follow-up video.
“Hi Panera Karen,” she said in the clip above, adding, “I just wanted to let you know that I’m meeting with the area manager at Panera tomorrow.” “Let’s just say he disagrees with the majority of the comments,” she concluded the video.
I wish I could show you a fun conversation between these two, but that’s the last I’ve heard from her. Since then, she has not returned to the platform.
Perhaps the meeting didn’t go as expected and she decided not to share the details. Or maybe your mom got fed up with the online harassment and didn’t think it was worth following up.
