And with The Sims 4: Seasons expansion, EA has given us one more thing to worry about. It’s a gnome. Curious to know what purpose these adorable creatures serve? How to appease gnomes in The Sims 4.

Gnomes will appear during the Harvestfest holidays in The Sims 4. This event occurs in the fall and coincides with the arrival of Holliday his gnomes. These celebratory creatures can be found throughout your Sim’s garden, and you can interact with them in a variety of ways. However, the first priority during Harvestfest is to appease them.

To appease gnome, first click gnome[Appease the Gnome]You have to select an option. This gives you the option of giving gifts such as coffee, fruitcake, future cubes, pies, salads, or toys. Thankfully, these aren’t pulled from your inventory, so you’re free to give them whatever you want.

When a gnome is appeased, a halo appears above its head. They also usually give you gifts in the form of seasonal seeds.

If you don’t want to appease the gnomes, you can also make them angry. To do this, interact with the gnome and select the “Kick the Gnome” option. This causes the character to (surprise!) kick the gnome, making him angry. Angry gnomes can be recognized by the fire icon above their heads.

Anger the gnome and the appliances in the house will start to break down. This is not a foolproof plan, but you can try to bring back their good side using the “Ask Forgiveness” option. There is a possibility.
