Recap the finale of HBO Max’s dramatic Gossip Girl series.

Once upon a time, two beautiful maidens named Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) adorned the steps of the Met with their presence.

A few years later, a group of Upper East Siders tried to play Gossip Girl in their own game at various Met steps, precisely at the Met Gala.

In an attempt to lure the real Gossip Girl out of hiding, Julianne (Jordan Alexander) and the rest of the Gossip Girl Scooby-Doo crew (they’re trying to solve the mystery, after all!) plan to create Blair and Chuck. make up (Ed Westwick) I’m proud.

Would Dan Humphrey have done this?

Zoya volunteers as a fake Gossip Girl guinea pig at the Met Gala. The idea behind this plan is to have the real Gossip Her Girl come forward and no fake her GG steal the spotlight.

Cue the grisly moments with a glamorous gala scheme. Zoya comes out in a gorgeous dress emblazoned with her proclamation, “I’m Gossip Girl,” but she’s quickly escorted by Met Gala security. Meanwhile, Kate (Tavi Gevinson), the real Gossip Girl, stays in bed.

Julian struggles with guilt after his Met Gala plan goes awry. Zoya is not only corrupted by what she did not do, her expulsion is inevitable.

Thankfully, the best-laid schemes often fail, so it’s always best to fall for Plan B when it doesn’t work the second. . She saw an article in The Spectator claiming that key Hollywood executives were trying to buy the rights to Gossip Her Girl story.

So “Gossip Girl” ends with the teacher being educated.

Kate drops everything she’s doing and goes straight to the restaurant where the rights meeting is reportedly taking place. There are Zoya, Julian, Eric van der Woodsen’s high school boyfriend Jonathan (Matt Doyle), Zoya’s father Nick (Jonathan Fernandez) and Andy. Cohen is waiting for her.

Not surprisingly, they all hear Kate boldly reveal that she’s been behind Gossip Girl all along. .

Kate tries to defend her actions when she realizes that Zig has happened. There are these little nasty things called laws. Kate says she doesn’t have a movie deal in her hands and with her entire life in legal jeopardy, she’s escorted.

But Jordan (Adam Chanler-Berat) finds himself at the end of the Gossip Girl series finale after an intriguing commercial deal that turns Gossip Girl into an app!

Will there be a third season of ‘Gossip Girl’?

Gossip Girl showrunner Josh Safran hasn’t given up on the show just yet. We also understood that it would take a lot of time and it wasn’t worth cutting the series’ budget just to have more episodes.

Josh explains: Without doing any serious damage.. So why make fewer versions? I don’t think that will happen. I think I’ll be back in. Right now.”
