As eid is approaching and there would be meat in everyone’s refrigerator, how about some fancy recipes for you to utilize the meat in the most feasible ways.

One of the lushest and tempting pieces of meat is goat leg which is the most consumed meat in the world. Nutrition-wise, goat leg and its soup works wonder, but as per ‘Eid occasion, we will make a roast out of it with some little and easy tricks.

We would start with all the ingredients required.


  1. Crushed ginger – 4 to 5 spoons
  2. Crushed garlic cloves- 5 to 6 spoons
  3. Green chillies – 4 spoons
  4. Grounded spices – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – 1 tsp
  6. Red chillies – 1 tsp
  7. Oil – 4 to 5 spoons
  8. Lemon juice – 5 to 6 tsp
  9. Yoghurt – 4 to 5 spoons


To set the spices into the meat, you must poke the leg with the fork and drizzle lemon juice and rub. Leave the leg for 10 minutes and prepare the mixture meanwhile. Mix all the spices in the yoghurt and marinate the meat with the mixture prepared. Coat the leg well and let it sit overnight or for 7 to 8 hours at least.

For cooking, fry both sides of the leg in oil; you don’t need to add anything because the yoghurt will leave water enough for the meat to tenderize. Cover the pot and let the meat simmer in it for some time.

Now the main part, some people like it this way and some want the meat to be a bit hard. You need to fry the meat for 2 to 3 minutes more to make it crispy.

Finally, before taking out the meat, put 3 to 4 cups of tomato ketchup and cook for another minute.

Serve with wedges and beverages.
