On January 12, 2023, Odele Cape Ventimiglia passed away at the age of 25.Her funeral was held on January 26th in Brooklyn, New York.
Her mother, Belinda Cape, took to Facebook on Jan. 21 to post a tribute to Odell.

“It breaks my heart to have to post the funeral notice of our beloved Odell,” Belinda wrote, along with a link to her daughter’s obituary. It was an overwhelming message of support and love, and a reminder of how much Odell meant to so many.Odell was much loved and left a huge hole in our lives.”
Belinda also said that Odell has “her beloved daughter Shiloh,” who is two months old.
