All about the Easter eggs in Taylor Swift’s ‘Lavender Haze’ music video

On January 27, Taylor Swift released the music video for “Lavender Haze” from her album Midnights. Following “Anti-Hero” and “Bejeweled”, this is the third track with a music video from the latest album. The captivating video follows Taylor falling in love in a frenetic dream filled with purple pools, lavender fields and hazy houses at her party.

But as any Swiftie knows, Taylor’s music videos usually feature Easter eggs. This seems to be no exception. In fact, it looked like the first potential Easter egg dropped on Jan. 26 when Taylor announced the music video was coming. Oddly enough, her ex-boyfriend John Mayer also announced his first acoustic tour that day. we don’t think so.

There seems to be a glitch at 2:43 in the “Lavender Haze” music video. As a refresher, “Glitch” is his one of the “Midnights” songs. One fan even claims Tay is posing from Speak Now when the glitch occurs, further supporting the theory that Taylor will re-release that “Speak Now” next.

At the beginning of the “Lavender Haze” music video, a record titled “Mastermind” (another track from “Midnights”) can be seen. These zodiac signs correspond to Taylor’s zodiac sign (Sagittarius) and that of her real-life partner Joe Alwyn (Pisces).

In the music video for “Lavender Haze,” Taylor’s love interest is a weatherman. Taylor sings “Karma is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me” and appears to be performing in “Lavender Haze”.

Every Swiftie knows that 13 is Taylor’s favorite number. Weather forecasts see the number 13 hovering over Nashville, Tennessee, where Taylor got her start in country music.

When Taylor was watching the weather forecast in the music video for “Lavender Haze,” the map apparently predicted rain in her area at midnight. “Midnight Rain” is another track from her album Midnights.

One avid fan noticed that the lamp in Taylor’s bedroom had an interesting shape. The lamp’s pipe, which connects the bulb to the base, resembles the Eiffel Tower at first glance. This could be a nod to her track “Paris” from Midnights.
